Pine Tree Rehab provides speech and language therapy/services for children and adolescents supporting a wide range of communication needs, including speech, language, social communication, and autism-related communication support.
We offer individualized reading tutoring for children who are struggling with early reading, decoding, spelling, phonological awareness, reading fluency, or language-based learning. Our sessions are designed to build the foundational skills children need to become more accurate, confident, and independent readers.

Pine Tree Rehab is a mobile and virtual practice offering in-home services in select areas of Pierce County and teletherapy/virtual sessions throughout Washington State.
Services may also be available at daycares, preschools, or other community locations with facility approval.
Availability depends on location, scheduling, clinical fit, and insurance or payment requirements.

Pine Tree Rehab serves families in Pierce County, WA, within a limited service area to ensure high-quality care and reduce travel time between visits. Currently serving Spanaway, Puyallup, South Hill, Frederickson, Graham, Parkland, Midland, Summit–Waller, Lakewood, Bonney Lake, and select areas of Tacoma.

Pine Tree Rehab is currently in-network with Regence BlueShield, Premera Blue Cross, LifeWise Health Plan of Washington, CHAMPVA, Community Health Plan of Washington, Coordinated Care Apple Health, Ambetter from Coordinated Care, and Cascade Care Select Public Option.
We are continuing to expand our insurance network, so please contact us to confirm current participation and benefits.
We also accept private pay and can provide superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Your child may benefit from a speech and language evaluation if they are difficult to understand for their age, have trouble following directions, use fewer words than expected, struggle answering questions or interacting socially, have concerns related to autism or developmental development, or experience challenges with reading or language-based learning. If you are unsure, an evaluation can help identify your child’s strengths and areas where support may be beneficial.

Yes we do! Pine Tree Rehab provides literacy support targeting foundational language and reading skills. Recommendations are individualized based on each child’s needs and evaluation findings.
